Zingg rapidly gained recognition in the motocross scene. He recently became part of Kawasaki’s Team Green program and had secured sponsorships from Oakley, Bell, Renthal, among others. Within the community, he was known for his remarkable humility, particularly considering his age and abilities.
In the announcement of Zingg's death, Maeda noted, "Aidan was one of those individuals who left a lasting impression upon meeting."
"I interviewed him for our race series years ago when he was on a 65cc bike. When I asked how long it would take for him to surpass his dad, he grinned and confidently replied, 'Soon, I'm sure.' From then on, he always took the time to greet me, even recently, as he matured into a skilled big bike rider... during an age when teens often become arrogant and cool," Maeda continued. "Not Aidan. I'm currently in Illinois at the Mini Monsters at Lincoln Trail and have many fond memories of him at these events."
Maeda added, "Motocross brings us immense joy, yet it can also take from us."
Zingg's last post on social media was a joint Instagram post with MotoSport.com, shared just ten days before his passing on June 18.
